Received 5 wild H. notatus from Wetspotcx through Grey a few days ago. They are 3m/2f, at about 5-6". A little stressed out from the cross country trip, but nothing a little TLC can't fix (I hope!). They are chilling in a 55, eating aggressively, and already claiming territories.

Here is one of the males. Will post proper pictures after they fully recover.

very nice!!!

Looks good. I'm a little surprised it is not fully colored up though at that size. The male I just got from John is just under 5" and is completely colored up and already has the yellow throat. My females look very similiar to what you have pictured but they do not have that many lines on there faces. Although I do have some 3.5" ones from Rapps that still are not showing much. Maybe mine is just an early bloomer:).

Maybe I got late bloomers :D They still look quite young, even for their size.

How's the big guy reacting to his new friends?

He doesn't even notice them. They are like flies to him. Honestly I would guess that that big boy is past breeding age anyway. He looks like an old grizzled war vet.

they are gonna be stunners, imo severums look wayy better once their fins grow in fully

He should retire. Bring him to me in Dec ;)
