I've never bred these fish before so can anyone give me some good advice or specific websites leading me to more info on taking care of the fry? I've googled a fair bit but found nothing helpful, I even came across a site saying they were as agressive as Parachromis Dovii lol.

Its very easy. The hard part is getting them to breed. Now that you have acquired a pair that has bred for you, there is no stopping them :) When they lay the eggs, if they are fertilized, they will be a yellow tan color, if not a milky white color. Once the eggs are fertilized, you should start to see wigglers in 3 days or so. They will feed off there egg sacks for about 3 days, so you will not need to feed them. Once they fry are free swimming you can feed them crushed flake, brine or other small foods. And Paul, don't worry about them eating the eggs, that means they are not quite ready for fry. But if they had a batch of fertilized eggs once, they will breed again. Once they get going, there is no stopping them. Any specific questions?

No questions Dustin I just want to learn more is all.

Well I can tell you for a fact, No severum I've ever seen or owned was anything near as aggressive as a dovii. Not even close.

lol you believed that? if they were as agressive as a dovii, all your fish would be dead.

Man I'm not stupid these fish are barely agressive when breeding.

Well the second spawn was a fail and they started nipping the rays so they are divided in the corner.
