Heros Notatus

It’s possible but you’ll have to grow them out more. The first telltale signs at least on the males is that the edge of the gill plates turn yellow/orange and develop large black splotches on them.

Ok thank you , yeah they are still small - their faces are becoming an inconsistent blue green - similar to my green and turquoise Severums. I did not think the notatus does this.
