I'm about to order some Red Headed Severums and would like to know if they can be housed with Aequidens Rivulatus.
I know the hardness in the water might conflict slightly, but has anyone have any success or experience with raising them together?
(they will all be juvies when introduced into a 75 growout(4 heros : 3 GTs)

I've had juvies GTs and sevs together with no problems. It was a 150g tank though so twice the space of your tank. The sevs grew quicker, eventually the male GTs will get large enough to inflict damage on the sevs.

BTW mine were Gold Saums and green/gold sevrums.

too many fish to grow out in a 75? or too many fish in general? What I plan to do is keep a pair of gts in a 75, a pair of heros in another 75, as soon as they start getting big. The rest of the unpaired fish would either be sold or given away. ideas? too small for a tank for the pairs? any feedback would be great.

ive had those two direct species together before.
absolutely fine.
severums are oddly very capable of taking aggression from a male GT,
but are equally peacefull when they wish to be.
thats just my input though

all right. this all sounds great. you guys got me all hyped up.:headbang2

Nice GT and sev. I have 5 GT's and 5 severums together now without issue. The terrors are 3-4 inch and the sevs are 3-8 inch.
