Heros severus 'Atabapo' wild caught pair with fry.

The male is the one with the 'patterning'on the face, the female is behind, gathering up the fry.
 
Great video. I had two pairs of this very fish from a group I purchased from Jgentry. I enjoyed them very much. Do you notice that sp. Atabapo is shy in comparison to other heros species?
 
Very nice Notho. Thanks for sharing. Mine are in community so they haven't bred yet given their ranking in the pecking order but your video makes me want to move them to another tank to get them to breed.

I was thinking the same thing. We need to get a group together and go to Winnipeg and pump him for his secret formula. Great video Notho keep up your steller work breeding fish.
