The other day I made my customary trip to my Lfs and found my a large Heros Severum or Green Severum. Ive had him for 2 days now and he hasn't eaten a single thing. Ive been feeding both Hakari Food sticks and Cichlid gold pellets. What Can I do? Help me please.

They can be a little shy at first, and I've found them to be pretty mild mannered about eating as well. Give him some time, maybe withhold food for a few days and try again. Also, how big is the tank, any tankmates, and water parameters would be good to know.
Mine was the same way when I first introduced him to the tank. I started giving him frozen bloodworms in hopes he would start eating and it did the trick. Now I use the bloodworms only as a treat every now and then. Anything else in your tank besides the GS?
