Heros sp. Atabapo Update

a little while ago i posted an ID thread for my severum where it was ID'ed as a female heros severus sp. atabapo. a few months have passed and it turns out that SHE, is actually a HE!
anyway he is now about 4.5-5" long and almost ready to be moved into my 90g along with a smaller atabapo sev a picked up about a month ago

sorry the pics are so bad, i recently re-aquascaped the tank and he has been really skittish ever since :D
 
Very nice. He looks great good job. The new one looks like a female to me.

Very nice. I wish I could find a nice male for my big female. The spotting on his gills is great.

Did you pick them up locally or order them?

i got lucky and picked them both up locally
 
I love atabapo's and that male has really nice spotting. Hopefully the new guy is a female and you can get some mouth brooding going on.

thats the plan, they are acclimating to the 90g as i type this:D
