I tried buying some there but Jim Ellenberger of Mainly Cichlids bouth them. I am thinking of getting a few and putting in my 215, with a pair of Jack demp. and 5 Nicaraguensis. Jim Cormier of JM Trops in Tampa claims they are true and not selectivly bred, and a natural occuring variety? Anyone own or seen these guys before? If anyone has any info like a true wild location, please speak up. I would NOT want to buy them if they are another creation like the Elec. Blue JD!

Jim states that he got his pair from a hobbyist but they didn't know the collection info. Guess the only thing you have to go off of is Jim's word, as no one else can say anything to prove/disprove any theories.

I remember seeing these same pictures in an aquabid auction where a collection location was named. I wanted to get a few but passed at the time due to compatibility conflicts. Anyway, even if they were selectively bred I would still get them.
