Hey, I just got this couple yesterday
When they arrived they were grey and half dead, couple of hours later they were both brown, and now the male is yellow and the female yellow brownish
Interesting and beautiful fish.

They have spawned!

Indeed

It's allaround a peacfull cichlid, probably the smallest central american also.
Never seen so impressive parenting before, not even P. Pulcher or A. Nigrofaciatus can match 'em.

It glows of a BEAUTIFUL yellow when in mating with blue edges on the anal- and spine finns.

It's "angry" color is solidblack with yellow finns!

They're like cameleons! Not hard to find out which mood they are in

Recommend 'em at the warmest.
