My aro has been a jumper since the very first day i got him, but now he's become even more sneeky!!
i have the tank covered and the lillte gaps taped so noone can squirm their way out. this weekend "hero" jumped out of the tank and i can't figure out how. the back is the part that has the tape(intake and output's) the front & the sides are completely sealed. my bro heard a loud noise hew went in my room an looked and he knew something wasn't right. he started checking all the tanks and noticed Hero was missing he opened the doors under the stand and ther he was!!!
we can't figure out how he got out the tape[duct tape(a.k.a. duck tape)] wasn't undone anywhere and the top on the aquarium easily 20X heavier that he is (he's approx. 12-14") the only way to get under the stand is from the back or the tank, the stand is right up against the wall with maybe 1/4" gap way to small for him to squeeze through. but that means he would've went out the front and squirm around the stand to the back and then squeeze through the tiny crack... i'm stumped
