hes a killer again!

my big RD/MIDAS has been living with a cat fish with no probs 4 about a month / month and a half, this morning when i put the lights on i found a ripped up pim cat? why would he just turn like this? he never botherd with the pim at all not wven a nudge or a flair.

dont be suprised alot of reddevils do that.They just snap on their tankmates when they mature.The same thing happened to me

A male texas of mine killed a female uropthalmus that he had been a "partner" with for several months, after several generations of fry were raised by them. They got along fine until BAM one day she was murdered.

so this kinda thing is the norm?
thing is he goes 4 the little cats i have with him all the time but they are still all in there, he also killed the plec (but thats not as bad as the pim)

not sure id call it the norm, but it is a somewhat common quirk among territorial fish.
