Someone took a good sized chuck out of my Chocolate cichlid right above his eye on his forehead where his Kok was developing...We just netted him and cleaned out the wound with Gel-tek anti bacterial, added a little salt to the water..Anything else I could do for him?
Look at my 180 tank set up if your going to recomend other treatments.

wound is developing into a good sized crater..13 views ..no opinions or advice..just treated water with Melafix, hopefully that won't affect the CL's or the Ornate

Update. he's healthy except for the lesion, it's widing and growing..
We will be putting him down tonight since it's been a couple of days and we cannot keep the bacterial infection in check

why would u put him down... its just a fish.. let him see if he can work it out... i had a turtle get his leg bitten off.. he came back... just keep medicating him and he will come around

can you put in a hospital tank to make treatment easier...
