Ok i had a hex tank given to me a couple years ago..was told it leaked. water tested today no sign of leaking (yet)...its a 75 or 90 by the looks i have not measured it yet

ANY suggestions what to do with it fresh, salty, trash can ect and what would work in it if i set it up

I reckon the hex shape is more suited to marine set-ups, with a bit of coral extending upwards; plenty of nooks for fish to dart in and out of.

Difficult for freshwater due to the footprint, unless it's got a low height and broad base.

Honestly it probably better to get rid of the hex tank and get a normal tank. You could try angel fish. Or some small to medium size livebearers. Hex tank arnt really good for cichlids or large territoral fish either or any large fish for that matter

I had one for a little had a nice koi angel and other smaller tetras with some nice plants make sure you get a strong light due to it being so tall

oh i got plenty of tanks set up, i dont "need" to use this tank just looking at possibilities

well it only took a week for the leak to show up...about 1/3 of the way down from the top..now what to do with the tank...thinking something that needs water and dry land both..iam gonna do something with it other than reseal or trash it so give me some suggestions.

Maybe put dwarf clawed african frogs, and add some plants like bamboo in the background allowing the plants base be only submerged in the water.:)
