have a major problem with a population of kribensis (although it isn't as big of a population now that maybe 1/4 -1/2 have died)
Best I can tell they are infected with hexamita. Most of the time they develope lesions on the forhead which in some cases have developed into major holes or even large part of the head being eaten away, this also coincides with pop eye in some cases. In some cases the fish do not develope hole in the head but only exhibit pop eye.
I have been doing daily/semi daily water changes and also medicating with Metronidazole but no luck in curing/saving any fish which start to exhibit symptoms. Some fish have shown no signs of infection.
Any suggestions? I'm really at a loss now, not sure what I should do.
thanks
