Alright first ill start with, yes i know my AK is not top of the line. I have a WASR 10. Frankly it goes bang every time and is semi acurate. I enjoy my gun. Now with that out of the way.....

I enjoy my gun but would like to mod it some. Asking yall for what.

im about to cut of the lug on the end and add a muzzle brake.

And gonna mod the mag well(which i have to add US parts to make it comlient) the way i figure from my research i have to add 3 US parts to make it complient. The reason im gonna mod the mag well is it currently only uses single stack mags. I want double stack.

Any idea what parts i should add? when i replace the lug with the tapco part that counts as one currect? was thinking about adding this as well

im a bit afraid to try and install that(as well as mod the mag well, the lug im not afraid of what so ever. easy as crap)

I also thought of making it a bull pup AK but my guess is this will be hard to do as well as hard to find the parts, am i correct? I cant find the parts but maybe yall know something?:headbang2

Any suggestions or any comments is welcome besides anything like "Wasr's are crap, dont waste ur money or anything like that":irked:
 
the conversion takes alittle more than 1 hour. compared to a few hundred bucks, not sure how its not worth it? double stack ak will run me at least 500. ill get, what, 200 for mine? thats a 300 difference. a simple template and a drimmel and mine is modded. I want to do some work to it anyway, and if i buy a new one, ill just be putting parts on a more expensive gun.

the link u posted could get me the gun for 400. the ffl would be 25 and the shipping around prob 50? maybe less? still over 450 bucks.

Oh and when i say cut off the lug, my wasr has a thread protector lug welded onto the end. i simply have to cut off a tac weld and unscrew it.
 
Keep an I on that site I gave you. They have specials all the time for free shipping. The FFL dealer I use only charges me $29.99 to transfer the gun over to me. I bought a new Bulgarian AK74 last month for under $380 when everything was said and done.
 
hmmm that wouldnt be bad. id still want to convert it to bull pup....
i dunno. still seems like that would be the more expensive route. maybe not

i also from checking out my ak better found out i already have teh tapco g2 trigger! sweet.
 
cut the weld and revealed beautiful threads. will be putting in my order for a flash suppresor shortly. any suggestions?
