After reading a bit about the tank busters i am keen to start a TB tank from scratch i am thinking of a giant gourami and a birchir or 2. l will be starting them in a 4x2x2 but i have a 6x2x2.5 (currently malawi) to move them into when the time comes. Just a few basic questions
1. How long will i get out of the 4 footer, how fast with a GB and birchirs grow ?
2. How much do they eat on a day to day basis ? i do 2 week swings away from home (for work) will a decent auto feeder(100 gram drum) be able to keep them going, they will be spoilt when i'm in town
3. And are they hardy fish ?
4. What is he basic tank setup for the GB and birchir ? currently have sand and crushed coral substrate but have seen alot of pics with minimal stuff in the tank
