The catfish looks like a Synodontis Eupterus.
The cichlid is an african, don´t know wich. Ask for an ID in this section:

Welcome to MFK.. the african cichlid looks to be a N.Venutus .... the female venustus will stay this way..giraffe pattern... if a male it will get a blue and gold body with the giraffe pattern being faint in the background..they grow to about 9 inches... nice to meet you.. here is a pic of my male and female venustus.. make sure you check out African rift forum for more info..View attachment 381305
