Hey there everyone. Im new on the forum, looks really nice, and easy to use. I have been into aquariums pretty much my whole life. I have 4 fish tanks, and a pond. 1 tank, and the pond are not 100 % complete yet. I have:

fish: only a med size pleco, and 2 bala sharks, and almost 7 of my fish die recently due to a power loss at my house.
Plants/ Decor: All artificial, some rocks, and few pieces of nice coral i stumbled on a long time ago.

Fish tank 4, Is a 55 gallon tank, I am turning into an african cichlid tank, so far I just put about 75 punds of 20 grit white sand blasting sand..Letting the water peremiters get right before I add any fish. And my pond shoudl be dont this weekend, I guestimated it about 1,400 gallons, it measure 12'Lx6'Wx2-1/2'D. Ill take pics of the cichlid tank, and pond once there complete, or at least 3rd way there, lol. Thanks for your time at looking at my tanks. :)

just a heads up: the balas and the pleco will eventually get way too big for the 55. Especially the balas since their bodies are not very flexible when it comes to turning around. Other than that, nice setup!

welcome to MFK..nice to meet you and hope you enjoy this forum as much as i do.... if you should have any questions let me know...great fish and tanks... :D:Dwelcome to MFK:D

Hey guys, I live bout an hour north of Sac, In Lake County. Yeah, I know the balas are going to get real big, but hey, my job was giving away free fish, I tok the oportunity, lol. Its ok, Im just going to give them away, and my girlfriend is going to do an angelfish tank. And for the pond, im probably going to stick with the Kois, a few shabunkins, maybe a few lion heads, something like that..
