I'm stumped. Only thing I know is that it came out of the Macagua dam, in Guyana.

ideas?

looks like a orino/temensis

It has the spotting, the solid bar, and the cheek markings of a tem, and the vertical bars of an orino...

It looks legit though

naturally-occurring hybrids??? everybody said that's impossible. if a fish doesnt match the currently ID'd species, is it a hybrid? or a new species?

Looks just like my juvie Orinos from Jeff Rapps... including the spangling. I think its a young orinocensis; the spangling may go away as it matures.

thing is...look at the cheek markings. only fish that shows intense cheek markings like that is a temensis, not orino
