Ok, here's a fish related question. I have a mid-range digital camera, i would like to do some photos of my fish (those i have and those i hope to have soon). I have tried all kind of different settings and way of taking a picture of the fish my results so far go from bad to blurry. Any ideas??? :WHOA:

just do like I did - give up and just enjoy the high quality pics that other people post up!!

but seriously, Id like to know too. i have a basic sony that has some manual controls, but i cant figure it out, im a newbie with this stuff....

I have a digital camera, and I don't touch the settings. I put it on the standard setting and take a bunch of pictures. Most of them are blurry, but I get a few good ones that are worth keeping.

Get more lighting over the tank. More the merrier. That way your shutter won't have to be open as long which is why your fish are blurry. I'm assuming you are shooting in 'auto' mode. btw, there is a forum here on MFK to talk about photography/cameras etc. Check it out!
