Been on this site a few times in the past, but finally getting down to introducing myself. I'm Romeo (my real name) aka vyperboy. Just finished setting up my 300 gallon acrylic tank (72x30x36) and still going through the process of cycling it. I've also got a corner 92g bow front glass and a 110g show all stocked with miscellaneous cichlids and cats.

I'm a big fan of catfish and plecos. Love all the giant cats on the site and now I don't feel too bad about adding my Tiger Shovelnose to my collection after seeing everyone elses in they're tanks. I actually got the 300g to accommodate the eventual size of the Tiger and yes, I do realize that
that size still won't be big enough once it's full grown. But I'll just enjoy it until then.

I also maintain a collection of 6 parrots, 1 Collared Aracaris (toucan family) 7 various pythons & boas, 5 spiders, 3 dogs, a cactus and succulent garden, bromeliad collection, staghorn fern collection, and a tropical garden. It's literally a small zoo at my house.

Here's a list of fish in each tank:

92 Gallon bowfront corner:
1 - 10" Green Severum
1 - 10 " Aequidens diadema (cichlid)
1 - 7" Heros sp. 'rotkeil' (Red Headed Severum)
3 - 7" Red Hook Silver Dollars
1 - 6" Silver Dollar
1 - 8" Orinocodoras eigenmanni (Doradid Cat)
1 - 11" Sorubim Lima (Shovelnose Cat)
1 - 9" Pseudopimelodus bufonius (Bumble Bee Cat)
1 - 5" Leporacanthicus Galaxias (Vampire/Galaxy Pleco)

110 Gallon Show:
1f - 9" Hyselecara Temporalis (Chocolate Cichlid)
1m - 4.5" Hyselecara Temporalis (Chocolate Cichlid)
1m/1f - 8" Gold Severums
1m/1f - 4.5" Geophagus Brasiliensis sp. Bahia Reds (Pearl Eartheaters)
1 - 5.5" Uaru Amphiacanthoides
1 - 8" Pseudoplatystoma Fasciatum (Tiger Shovelnose Cat)

Everything in the 110g is going into the 300g except for the breeding pair of Gold Severums and the Red Hooks, Silver Dollar and Shovelnose from the 92g will also be going into the 300g.

I'm still on the look-out for some of the not so common larger characins, but pirahnas and stingrays are out since they aren't legal in California. If anyone know where to get them here in SD, let me know. I prefer to view animals in person before purchasing, so online buys are out for me.

Anyway, that's me, the at home zookeeper. I'll post pics of the 300g after it's cycled and stocked.

Take care, everyone.... Romeo
