i am new to this site and have been keeping for seven years and i really want to start keeping monster fish but all i have right now is a 55 gallon that is a community tank that is full of small fish
any advice on on any largish fish i can keep in it and is their armored catfish other than the common pleco that are suitable for this setup
any advice is appreciated and from what i have seen so far this site is awesome with really friendly people and i hope i have seen correctly

Welcome. There are alot fish that you can keep in a 55. What are you interested in? (peronality, color, any specific fish)
 
Hello from a fellow Virginian.. There are several monster fish you could keep in a 55, we just need to know what you like. A marbled raphael has an armored look but they do tend to hide alot.

i like mostly bottom dwelling fish and particularly catfish and deep bodied mid level fish that have lots of personality
i use Cordis fish and supply on [FONT=arial,verdana][SIZE=-1]9067 Liberia Avenue that is very good and i really enjoy going their just to see what they have
