hiya ,i have 4 tanks right now in which i have some discus,oscars,FH ,but now one of my friend is giving his tank 2 me and size of that tank is 33x8x12 it's quite unusual so i was jst thinking can you guys suggest which fish would be better to keep in such a tank,i was thinking of FH or arowana will it be ok!!!!!

well you are very limited on stocking then. both fh's and aro's are out. sounds like some sort of breeder tank.
Something small that stays small.
Think about it, if the fish gets 10" long, it wont be able to turn around....thats all your fish.

i would think you have a few options... a convict or HRP pair would be ok... or maybe some firemouths...
it would also make a really cool SW shallow reef type tank... or a cool shell dweller tank with a few different types...
