love the site we are in the middle of building a monster tank in my basement and would like some thoughts on filtration. the tanks glass is 62inches by 54inches and is 1 inch thick and the tank is constructed of 10 inch block 3/4 inch rebar is drilled into the floor every 6 inches and every course of blook is filled with cement. So far we think the tank is between 1500 and 2000 gallons any ideas on filtering this much water. thanks guys Would also like to know how to keep the wife through all of this

Welcome. You have to show pics of the build. Explain to wife how you are too busy and too broke from this hobby to be out getting into trouble.

if you look into the article area you will see sum threads by johnptc he built 2 large tanks might be some info there ... if it were me I would use a rubber maid 300 pond and make a massive wet dry out of it ..best of luck and welcome to MFK.......
