here's a tarpon I caught on Father's Day in freshwater. He was super heavy. Somewhere around the high 30's or just about 40#'s. Caught on my lightest spinner on 20# braid.

WOW! That is a nice one! What's the trick to catching them? When I was there earlier this month we saw them jumping all over the Griffin Road Canal but they weren't taking anything :(:(

We were using Rapalas. Mostly X-Rap.

Although you brother did comment on how we had a our lures rigged.

Our lures were on a snap swivel then tied directly onto the main braided line.

I forgot how your bo tied his. I think he had a Mono or Floura leader with loop knots on both ends. One to the lure and the ther to the braided line.

What size does your bo use for Peas? When I saw him fishing he was pulling them out like crazy!
