This is my 55 FH tank it sits on a stand but look at the front of it it has a gap like that. Do u guys think it can crack the glass? The sides and back of the tank sit perfect on the stand. But the front does not.

Like even when the tanks not on the metal stand it looks bent like that. Its stupid af! Im just worried it will cause it to crack and my landlord kill me for having 55g of word damages in his house!

glass shouldn't shift like that.. Maybe its the trim? Maybe the tabs on the inside cracked causing the difference? But a 55 gallon doesn't have much pressure so it should be fine. If it was a 180 then there would be a need for worry.

As long as the tank is supported on all four corners it will be fine. Its the acrylic tanks that break when this happens to them.

Lets see those Fh's

Oh okay guys thanks!! Yeah the corners and the back and sides are supported. It was just the fron that wasnt. But im pretty sure its not the tank its the stand. Because before i had it turned around so the back had the gap. But now that i moved it to another room i didi t realize i put it backwards and the gaps in the front. Thanks again guys!

I would cut some 2 by 4's and brace the middle just for piece of mind. Paint them black as well to match. Example belowexample.jpg
