Ok I am completely :Pikachu: when it comes to rays. I am hopefully picking up a 300 gallon maybe tomarrow or in the next two weeks haven't decided because need the extra space and supplies to get it going. Anyways I always like rays but never thought of having any until Rallysman inspired me to do so with the soon to be new tank. The dimensions are 96"x36"x20". It's acrylic and will have a sand bed in it. I am just wondering what are some nice rays that are not hard to keep but at least a challenge. Please post pics and any info you have to offer me. Thanks in advance.:D

i got a hystrix and a motoro. If you can find them they are moderately priced, hardy and nice looking rays. Mine eat like pigs so far but like with any ray you gotta watch the water quality.

I would recommend motoros for a first ray.... active hardy and beautifull...
