hey i got 1 piranha i had for a realy long time its in a tank with a guppie and some other fish.
in my other tank i got a red devil witch is about 11in long.
i wanna grow an id shark in my piranha tank so i can move it in with my red devil when its about 5-7in long. anyong it will work??

I don;t know much about Piranhas but if you've got it in a tank with a guppie and others I don;t think it's a piranha. You sure it's not a Pacu?

I don't think it will, but that's just my opinion. I don't know what kind of P you have, but all P's are parasitic fin nippers. I would imagine that either the P will nip all the fins and tail off your RD, or the red devil will bludgeon the P to death before it has a chance. Either way there's probably going to be some conflict. What are the sizes of the two fish?

I think he's looking to grow out the ID shark with the P and then move the ID into the RD tank when bigger?

Oh my bad I guess I misunderstood. Nevertheless, if it's a species of piranha (pygocentrus, or serrasalmus) then I wouldn't advise keeping it with any other species. While it's true that piranhas lack the legendary predatory drive that we normally attribute to them, they're still piscivorous fish. They tend to not play well with others. In their natural habitat piranhas, especially serras, are parasitic. They nip scales and fins of other fish as a primary means of nourishment. If you want to grow a nice pretty fish I wouldn't keep it with a piranha. Every fish I have ever tried to keep with piranhas has been nipped in the first 24 hours, and murdered in the first month. The tail is the first thing to go, then the P will systematically devour the fish piece by piece over period of time. There are two kinds of fish in a piranha tank, piranhas and feeders.

If your fish has been living with a guppy for some time, then I would guess it's not a piranha. If it's not, then you should be ok.

it's free and self-explanatory. After you create a free account just follow the simple upload instructions. After you upload, the site will generate various codes for posting pics. The IMG code is the one you want for MFK. It should look something like this:

"
copy + paste and it should show up.
