i have a 20 oz paintball tank with a glass diffuser, i just upgraded my light to t5 27w 10,000k, and amazonia. Can i grow dwarf hair grass now? oh and the tank is a 12inx 12inx 12in ada tank, has anyone used the red sea paintball regulator, is it good?

Those regs are okay at best. Your lighting is still too low for a hairgrass to do well, without algae.

agreed. Their is a curve on the light intensity scale (based on lux, not just the power the light draws from the wall) and a high light tank of smaller size is going to require a lot more "wpg" then a larger tank. It works vice versa for 300-400+ gallon tanks require less wpg to grow higher light requirement plants.
