i catch alot of trout during the spring and summer and before i kept one and seem to do alright until i moved him to a different tank and he got bulllied to death. this time i kept one of the smallest ones around 10 inches about 2 months ago. i kept him in the garage and ate minnows like they were little pellets. the weather got warm like above 70 degrees water temp and air temp around 78. now i moved him in the house and he seems to be doing fine eating minnows and krill. ive heard to much about them not being able to survive the warmer tmeps so what do you thing is going on here? last water check showed 70 on the thermometer. i posted a couple pics on the fishing forum when i threw him in the garage tank but that was a little while ago and seems to be doing fine in the house tank. what do ya make of that? i thought it would be a temporary thing and i would fillet it like i did all the trout i caught all spring. now i thing i may be onto something bringing him up 1 degree at a time as the wheater warmed. just thought id throw that at ya and see what ya think.

70 is probably close to death for a trout some years when the water is very warm in the streams by me they'll be dead trout for miles, keeping trout is very tough i think you need a tank cooler and lots of space, but with you it doesn't really matter because your going to eat him anyway
