Howdy everyone my name is Dave. I plan on building a six foot long aquarium so i'm sure I will be asking a buncha questions thay have been answered ten times but I'll do my best to research. It will be a mbuna tank. Currently i got a buncha juvi's in a 29 gallon. its a complete mess. rescued a buncha random cichlids from a buddy who had to move. I will be weeding out the ones i dont want adding ones i do want. I'm thinking it will be an all male setup unless i find a species i really like. I do have a fondness for my juvi white top hara. But that is probably just because it is the most colorful. besides that i have (probably hybrids of I dont trust what even my friends say) 2 kenyi (maybe one of them is actually a kenyi and it happens to be the ugliest fish in the tank) a bumblebee ( i think female not sure at what size they change color) a Hongi, and blue dolphin, 2 albino Zebras( i think red top who knows though buddy got em at petsmart ) and finally for whatever reason, i assume the guy at petsmart said oh yeah lots of people do it, there is one lonely what he called a red banded tropheus( which i think is actually gonna be yellow, still pretty small.) I know lots of fish but i plan on weeding out the petsmart population ( kenyis bumble bee tropheus and the albinos) and adding 5 or 6 synos. The blue dolphin might have to go too. seems mean to keep a lonely hap with a buncha mbuna's plus then i can mess with my tank size a little bit.
Welcome!!
