I just registered and just wanted to say hello, and tell a bit about my aquarium.
I currently have a 55 gallon set up with black Eco-Complete Planted Aquarium Sub straight, two Marineland Bio Wheel filters, one for up to 75 gallons and one for up to 50 gallon, a Aqueon heater for up to 75 gallons, two power heads, and the lights that the hoods came with.
In it I have one Golden Severum, five Kribensis Cichlids (looks like 3 girls and 2 boys, but they are still quite young), two Gold Cloud Minnows, two Neon Green Rasporas, three albino Corys, one Pictus Catfish, one Albino Bristle nose Pleco, one common pleco, about 11 Assassin Snails, one Gold Mystery Snail, and a recently rescued (unknown) dwarf cichlid (a friends filter broke). I'm also thinking of adding a couple of Angelfish. I love how social they are.
I have some Java Moss, and a Bamboo plant, but sadly, that is the extent of my live plants. I have many other artificial plants that I like the look of quite well, in addition to a large piece of drift wood, several other smaller pieces of driftwood and pieces of slate that create a large cave, and a few small half buried flower pots for the Kribs that actually look rather nice.
Just thought I'd introduce my tank
I'm very proud of it and it makes me very happy, my fish are very enjoyable to watch.
