Hello everyone I was just browsing the net and found this site on google and thought I would give it a try. I probably should have put this in the intro part of the form but, all I really care for is pikes.....LOL....No offence or anything I just figured most all my post will be in this section so I will get to know everyone that post in the section first. Anyhow, I have been keeping fish for about 3 or 4 years, started out with african cichlids and the moved to ca/sa and now I currently keep the best of the best Pikes :headbang2 ! I only have a pair of Wild Caught C. Frenata for the time being. I will be posting pics of them as soon as possible. I was looking at some of the other post and I just have to say I MUST HAVE A PAIR OF LENTS!!!! OMG! I have seen the name of them before in some of the litterateur about pikes on the internet but, I have never seen one untill today. They are so beatuiful!!! I must have some. If anyone can give me some info on them and knows where I can get a small pair of them please let me know.

hey. welcome to the site. i look forward to seeing your frenata pair. i know there are a couple guys selling pikes in the vendors section of this forum. check out tangled up in cichlids. he usually carries quite a few pikes. getting a small pair might be tough. i feel like i always see them in the 7-8 inch range.

look forward to seeing pics of your frenatas. post pics soon. :)

Welcome to the addiction :D Frenata are FANTASTIC! Good luck with spawning. For Lents, getting small ones would be cool, so you can watch em grow, but, no way of knowing if you have males and females till they are about 10", I have five of them and I only knew a female for sure because when I vented her, it was obvious that she had spawned before. I have a little experience with venting pikes, while in Uruguay in March, I must have looked at about a thousand of them :)

hope to see some pics of your Frenata!
