Las Vegas
I'm Kent (33yrs) and currently residing in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have been part of the "monster" fish side of the aquarium hobby for about 5 years now.

I currently have a brand new 300 gal tank (temporary use) that currently houses my baby boy, MANG (RTC) and my fussy woman, Toni (TSN). I raised my RTC since he was about 2" long. He is now 26" long and has an awesome personality (almost 4 years old now). My 23" TSN was a rescue and done in the knick of time. She was in a tank with a Texas Horn, two Alligator gars and a lungfish. About 60% of her tail fin were eaten off, along with the her two side fins. Her right one has scars showing her battle wounds.

Anyway, I just recently transferred my cats from their 195 gal tank and into their temporary home, a brand new 300 gal tank. The tank is temporary due to the fact that ATM is building my new 900 gallon acrylic bow front tank for my living room.

I just found this forum after stumbling onto a large catfish tank video on youtube.com. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoFdMcqLUJk). I followed the link to this community. What a treasure find this site is.

Now, the collective experience of monster fish keepers here, you all can help me with my current issue... What new catfish tank mate I can add to my current cat family? I am interested in a paroon, walking cat, armor cat, marble cat, and a hybrid (rtc/tsn). I want to get at least 2 more before I get my large tank... But I don't know what else is out there worth sharing a tank with my current boy, MANG! (RTC).

Anyways... Hello everyone... I can't express how excited I am to join this community!

Welcome to MFK...always nice to have another RTC owner on board to share war stories with...

cool cats

Welcome!!! Beauties you got there!!

Thanks guys! I'll share you love with the cats!

So my biggest questions are these:
1) who knows the most (experience in raising and obtaining) RTCxTSN hybrids and RTCxMarble hybrids?
2) If you had a 900 gallon acrylic tank to stock any type of cats in, what would they be? Believe me when I say your input is valuable to me!

I have, and prefur, the MRTC over the RTSN because they are a bit more consistant as far as shape goes. The RTSN's can favor either the TSN or the RTC in body shape. Both are great fish however and seem to exhibit the same outstanding TSN personality.
