Earlier tonight i wrote Vin Kutty an e-mail asking a question about my Pike,i also told him you were our resident Pike expert,he said he will check us out on MFK sometimes,i think this is pretty cool,he seems very down to earth and answered my e-mails in like 2 minutes.Maybe you and him can discuss Pikes.Isnt he like one of the top experts on this fish??:headbang2

Aye, talked with Vinny a few times as well. Great guy, very willing to talk to anyone, even if they aren't very 'versed' in the pike world. He would definitely be a very valuable asset to have on here. He's got some pikes right now that some of us can only dream of having, namely his Crenicichla celidochilus (no he won't share, believe me I asked...haha). It would indeed be great to have him join here.

I'm by NO means the pike expert though guys!! Wish you wouldn't put me up on some pedestal and all. I'm still learning just like the rest of you guys, I make mistakes, and have been wrong a couple of times!! There are plenty of us here in the pike forum that are just as smart if not smarter than me when it comes to pikes. Main reason I got this position is because of my ENTHUSIASM about keeping Crenicichla. I absolutely love them, and it radiates through me. Eat, Sleep, Breathe Crenicichla. Just can't get enough of them!! ;) I'm by no means an expert though, I might have a little more experience than most, but I'm just a good ol' Crenicichlaholic trying to love these awesome fish!! ;)

No disrespect meant, just that you have always helped me through my trials and tribulations with my Pike.I have a quick question for you,at present i have a 3-4 inch Orange Pike, with a larger tank could i keep another Pike in with him/her??

No disrespect taken, just don't want you guys to think I know everything, lol, cuz I don't. ;) Still learning about them, that what makes them so awesome and fascinating! :D

With your xingu I, depending on how long its been in the tank, it might be difficult adding more pikes. If you got a group of pikes, and added them all at the same time it will most likely work. Adding one pike at a time though is asking for trouble, as the resident pike will need to lay down the law, but can work sometimes as well. It just depends on the pike you add and so on. If you added a lenticulata be ready for some fighting, lol, they are aunry pikes!

Oh you are on a high pedestal P. JK You are very helpful to everyone on here, me included. Keep the enthusiasm as it does permiate to us all. Even if it is digitally
