Just registered, and following the suggestion in my notices!

Background:

I own a small ten gallon >.< with two large comet goldfish (they were in a half gallon bowl together until I did some research and found that was reallly bad). They will <unfortuenetly> probably be going back to the fish store soon since I do not own a pond or 60 gallon tank.

Hopefully I will be establishing some algae to my tank, adding sand substrate, plants, bogwood, and a heater to my tank to provide for a few tetras, some otos and maybe a couple shrimp! I have to wait for summer though. My mom is not too keen on me doing this, she thinks my goldfish are fine where they are, so everything I want to do causes some head-butting. My dad doesn't care as long as I take care of what is in there though ^^ .

Anyway, greetings from me!

:welcome: to MFK!

A 10g will definitely work for shrimps. If you can manage to breed cherry shrimps, you can actually sell them so you may get extra profit from that. They're easy to breed but don't overfeed as overfeeding often is responsible for high mortality rate among shrimps.

Hello and welcome to MFK! Nice avatar :)

Thanks =) I made the avvie with my tablet I got for christmas (amazing that I actually got it) <333

And thanks everyone, and that shrimp thing sounds pretty cool, I'll look into it!

Welcome, really glad you made the right decision of letting those goldfish go.
