My thoughts as well, I'm watching :popcorn:

I spent about 3k total. Tank only I would guess 1300-1600. It would have been about 300-400 cheaper if I had done everything right the first time.
Tank dim are 8x3x3.

I have spent about 2.3k so far (96x48x26 interior water volume). The tank itself can be made fairly inexpensive depending method and if you shop around for all of the components. The most expensive things for the actual tank construction were the west system epoxy, fiberglass, tempered glass (two pieces), bolts (my tank is modular and can be disassembled), screws (boxes and boxes of 5 lbs screws 3.5", 4", 3", 2" and 1.25"), and silicone (1.5 boxes). Wood cost fits in there somewhere but not at the same rate as all of the other stuff.

The cheapest I could find my twin Quiet One 14000s was 270 and I bought two of those... I have an older pond model but that went back in the pond for the winter.

Hi i got most of my stuff cheap or scrap peices from work. will write a list of parts used to date, over xmas.
But was well worth the effort, so far!!!!!

$35.00 ten years ago...but I scrounged really well back then :D.

I built a 5x5x3 foot deep tank for about $600. The 2x4 1/2 tempered glass $100, sani-tred about $250, the rest was 3/4 exterior plywood 2x6's 2x4's and misc. This was for the stand and the tank.
