You can't.
Your best bet would be to fed shrimp and tons of shrimp, bloodworms, etc to darken the bar and give tons of orange coloration.
I LOVE widebar myleus schomburgkii. I have 1 now and am getting a nice 3.5'' one soon.

Yes. Those pellets should be fine.
