:nilly:Hi Currently on a 2'x1'x1' tank, but am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my new tank in a weeks time. Currently all i have is the stand and tank, wondering if people can suggest gravel, filter, lights etc for the tank.

At the moment i've got a eel tail catfish, 3 angels, 2 silver dollars, 1 big bristlnose catfish, 2 silver sharks, 2 white rainbow sharks, about 10 tiger barbs, 2 golden tiger barbs, 5 neons, a swordtail, 2 mollies, 2 sucker catfish, a spiny eel, 4 golden snails, a clown loach, about 10 or so Guppies, and 5 decent sized gouramis. (crowded i know, got too excited at the fish shop, hence the bigger tank)

Any responses in regards to this would be greatly appreciated! :D

Hi ya'll....this my first post :)
Space...that's a very big upgrade indeed.
I'm currently planning for mine...3'X1.5'X1.5' ~ 4'X2'X2'

Welcome thats some upgrade:D

Your tank's volume is approximately 55296 cubic inches or 239.38 U.S. gallons, which is approximately 931.18 liters.

There are many varieties of filters. You should select a filter that will fit your filtration needs and be appropriate for the type of fish you are keeping. Having multiple filters on a tank that size will usually give the best results and will provide backup in case of an equipment failure. In general, water turnover in an aquarium will be 3 to 4 times the tank capacity an hour.

Welcome to MFK and GL with the new tank!
