looking to set up a ray tank soon....(should i get a motoro as a starter ray?)

Welcome! if you worry about keeping ray.. get a motoro.... they are pretty ez to keep...

I agree..motoros are pretty hardy as far as ray goes.

Welcome, I have never kept Rays but I have heard Motoro is also the best for first Ray.

what tank setups do you have? have you tried mixing the african cichlids with the natives?

i been looking at what the lfs has been ordering and labeling a generic fresh watter ray. Anyone got a clue what type it may be. the lfs useualy has them around 50 bucks

I can't keep rays. I kill them all even motoros.

motoro or reticulata are the most common rays right? so theyd be what wcked got?
