I'm Monica from Texas. I found this place because I was looking for some DIY pond projects. I've been browsing for a few days and HOLY $#!%! Y'all take on & successfully complete some amazing projects! I'm totally impressed.
Over the years I've had many aquariums both saltwater & fresh. Right now I have a 125 gallon freshwater aquarium with a custom built cabinet that cost me too much money.
I have an empty 55 gallon that I'm considering making into a saltwater tank but I'm a little scared. I've had 2 saltwater tanks before but they were larger & to be honest I paid someone to maintain them. This time I want to do it all myself! So I've been doing some research and hopefully I can get that started sometime within the next year.
I just bought a tiny 10 gallon tank. I've never had one this small before. I'm not sure what my obsession with tiny tanks is lately but I was even considering buying one of those itty bitty flluval edge aquariums! In any case I DESPISE all of the stands I've seen for the 10 gallons (guess I got spoiled with the custom one) so I'm looking for plans to build one myself. I'm finding it hard to find anything for a tank that small, though.
So that's the story of where I've been and where I'm at now with fishkeeping. Looking forward to reading about & seeing more of your projects..and hopefully sharing my own!
