hey guys it is my first time here! and i love it! tones of pics, i have just been goin crazy for hours lookin at eveyones amazing tanks!

anyway i have a 55g, and 15g tank, my 15g is for snails/shrimp, but the real question i have is for my 55g, i have some tetras and corys in there right now but after christmas will be changing it over to cichlids! I have been looking at blood parrots and think they are really kool! BUT i cannot get a straight answer!!! can i have 2 parrots in a 55g tank?? or is it not even big enough for one?? everyone seems to say somethin different, what do ya'll think?

well hope i posted this in the right place lol, lookin forward to gettin an answer!...well i gunna go look at more monster fish!

hmmm...I don't see a problem with it, but I do not keep SA/CA cichlids. Don't worry, you will get some responses soon enough. Welcome Aboard.
 
I would do it. I had one in a 29 for a long time. It was about 5" with another 5" african cichlid and they were in there for a good 6 months atleast. I think they would fit in a 55.

dont know much abt blood parrots but im sure ull get ur answer either by searching this forums or by someone answering u! anyway, hope u enjoy ur stay here!

yea man 2 Blood parrots will be fine for quite some time! do it up, maybe they will breed for ya if your lucky!
 
Welcome to the sight! As for the 55, I say go for it! the fish should be fine for quite a while.
