Hello from PA, just got my tank its a 36 gallon "round-front" sorry i forgot the actually name for these types of tanks ^_^

Anyways im looking to start off with catfish after cycling.
 
well at least it's another from the east, welcome to mfk what type of catfish are you interested in getting? any ideas yet?

and i was thinking of starting off with some pincuts and columbian sharks... i think ill have to get white fin sharks though since thats all my pet shop offer i was told it was in the same columbian shark family though

btw anyone know of a "encyclopedia" (Online) of species of fish perferably with pictures? I've been trying to find one for a while but i can't : (

i have columbian sharks and i love them... they are in brackish water.. once they mature they need brackish to avoid skin problems which eventually leads to death... maybe MFK should have an encyclopedia.. that would be awesome,... but what ever your looking for ..it is probably here..:D:D
 
Yea that sounds like a good idea XD

And ty for the info on sharks ill definitely be getting some of those..maybe 2?
I guess it depends on how well they will get along with the other i choose
