Question feeding my savanah wax worms, cockroaches and pill bugs...good menu

Not really.

Add pinkie mice, fish, crickets, mealworms, and lose the pillbugs.

depends on size, for larger ones i'd say increase the prey's size, to include mice and rodents and fish, but for smaller ones, some crickets may do for a little while, but they are natural predators.

mice are bad, he is small 8 inches, i feed pinkies every so often...and he gets feeders whenever my fish do....the list i gave u was extra becasue crickets get boring, i gave him a land snail the other day adn he loved it..

Well, what you listed is generally not healthy, not nutritious. Go by what we are suggesting and your lizard will have a much longer life ahead of him.

i have never heard mice were bad, though they should be dead while feeding, live ones can hurt your herp. pinkey at this size is alright, but think about what your monitor would be eating in the wild.

you may want to try canned dog or cat food, i have heard that those work as well for adults.

canned foods are OK as a supplement, but often creates fatty issues (both obesity, and fatty deposits) if used too much.

Mice are bad because they are fatty.......if you see an obese monitor it is most likely because he has been fed a high rodent diet.......
