My name is Ed I live in Southeastern, PA. I have a 14x16' fishroom with 30 nice size tanks ranging from 30's to 150 gallons. I will be converting my 150 from a malawii cichlid tank to a Monsterfish tank. I am in search of a Tiger Shovelnose cat to place in it along with some large cichlids and maybe a Redtail cat. I have some large cichlids; Jack Dempsey's and vieja's I might add to it.
I am really into taking pics of my fish with my Nikon D70 digital camera. I went collecting Tropical fish in Peru last year and really fell in love with large catfish that we pulled up in seine nets. I will post a few pics in Photos of two of the large cats we caught but released.
I hope to learn a lot about keeping large catfish or other large oddballs.

Thanks!
Ed Y.

this is the place to learn about large fish, and I'm sure we'll all drool over the pix from a D70 (very nice camera by the way) You should also check out www.aquatic-photography.com.

If it was me, I would skip the TSN and RTC in the 150, they wont last long in there. Viejas and other cichlids would be awesome though. I've got a vieja fenestratus and I love those fish:)

Anyway, WELCOME TO MFK!

Right on, I'm glad to see you come over here.....There is a ton of info here, so put your learning/laughing cap on:) (we're an easy going buch of people)
