hi i have a new addition to my arowana tank a teacup stingray and i need all the help you can give me in what food to give what amount off food per day, he is about 3 inch. and any other info you think i would need to know.

thank you

First, what size tank?

Second, do you know what actual species it is? "Teacup" stingray is just a trade name, and can be a number of different juvenile species of stingray.

You can bet it won't stay teacup size, whatever the species. Rays are considered to be best left to very experienced hobbysists and you should do lots of research--BEFORE you buy one ideally.

tank size is 6 feet x 3 x 3

the species is the Potamotrygon Reticulata

i did do a lot of research on this species it will grow up to 15inch not including the very long tail, i know what they should eat but what i am trying to find out what i can give him at this young age.

Chances are your teacup is a retic. It is best to feed them as much of whatever they'll eat as often as they can eat it, especially when young. Foods commonly taken at first are blackworms, bloodworms and earthworms; possibly others. Post your questions in the ray section to get more response.

Didnt see that you posted species and tank size. A retic will be fine in that size tank. Find the ray section for more info on them!

Sorry, but if you did a lot of research you shouldn't be calling it a "teacup" stingray--makes you look like a n00b, even if you aren't.
