Hi all, i have been looking over this site for a while and cant believe all the info there is on here and great help, so i have decided to put my plans forward to you to get a second opinion from you all about what i would l;ike to do.
I have wanted to keep rays for a while but its always the thing about space for the tank, the largest tank i can have is a 5x5 base and i was thinking about 2.5 high, now from what i see its still not that big for a fully grown ray like a motoro, i would like to keep these rays for life so i need some smaller rays, i say rays as i like to get a pair. Would a pair of retics be ok in the 5x5 base tank for life, i will want to keep other fish also like an arrowana, not sure on which yet though, plus a few other fish.
For the filtration i was thinking about a sump of 75-100 gallon.
But the main question is the tank size if it will house them happly for life.
