Hey all!!

Im new to posting on MFK but have been lurking around reading for a while! Fantastic site!!

I have a 12"x12"x24" high tank. Its currently housing one little Beta. Im wondering a stocking idea for such a tank that isnt the usual neons guppies etc I want someting a little different. (Of course I would wait till the day Sammy passes away, I like to think ahead )

i wouldn't do dwarf puffers until after the betta is out of the tank. i've had mine in a community tank before and he was encredibly laid back but i think a bettas long fins would be a bit too tempting. i'd add in the usual neons(or cardinals, better looking imo) and a couple kuhli loaches, dwarf cories or a bristle nose pleco etc and in a year or two when the betta passes on then get the dwarf puffers
