Hi all:woot:I'm Neil (people get confused with my user name) & live in the NE of the UK. A couple of months ago I had to down size my main tank (60x21x15") to a 25G due to a few health problems but it has restarted my passion for the hobby again & I am now finding it a lot easier to maintain this tank. I'll be asking a few questions as i'm planing on making a new stand for the 25G & to hold a smaller tank below for some corydoras Habrosus which i'm hoping to start breeding

welcome Neil to mfk.. nice to meet you.. any questions just ask.. we are all here to help...

Welcome aboard!! Sorry to hear about the health problems, but glad to hear it hasn't made you have to completely quit the hobby!

Thanks for he warm welcome. Hi pdandy I almost quit but got told off my friends I would be mad & couldn't quit. I've got quite a few probs with my elbows & shoulders so lifting buckets of water when doing water changes was a real killer for me but am able to do a 30Litre water change ok with very little pain compared to the 100 litre water changes I had to do on my old tank which was also higher up. My friend bought my old tank but it does pull at the heart strings every time I see it as i've got so many great memories of my 3 old pairs of Angles spawning in that tank every 3 weeks

Welcome!

...Have you ever tried something like a Aqueon water changer which attaches to your water faucet so you don't have to carry any buckets of water? http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=23593
