Hi All! Happy Friday? I'm looking forward to a weekend of fish tending. I have a couple questions. I'm not sure if this is the right place for it but here goes...

My aro has a thin whitish film over one eye. The past week he stopped eating feeders, hangs out at the top of the water, and is sluggish. He did eat a couple of pellets today. He is a Jardini and I got him already big now he's around 1.5 feet long. A few months ago he swallowed an suction cup that used to hold airline tubing. Does it have anything to do with changes? Please advise.

thanks in advance

greetz_e0.gifIt sounds like he injured his eye.. the film is either bacterial infection, or fungus.. sometimes called cloud eye..and could be caused by the injury itself.. first check water perimeters.. do a water change.. 50% at least.. no more feeders..feeders introduce this type of disease.. including others.. and offer very little nutritional value.. stick with pellets.. and go to the forums that are linked in the above post.. you will get lots of help.. welcome to mfk
